Umoja Partnership is a partnership of many faiths, from different cultures, on two continents, united in our service to change lives by keeping children in school. In Chulaimbo, Kenya, at least 20% of the school-aged children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS and other diseases. The Umoja Project has developed a compassionate and comprehensive network of care to respond to the needs of these children, ensuring that they stay in school and perform to the best of their ability. Congregations, schools and families from Indiana and the Chulaimbo region of western Kenya are responding to the needs of Chulaimbo’s vulnerable children. Through our shared efforts, a new generation of community leaders is emerging. Visit their website here http://theumojapartnership.org/.
